Duskpetalry brings together seasonal accents for the places you already use, from the mantel you pass every day to the table where guests sit down.
Our approach to seasonal décor
Start with one piece
A miniature house, a tree or an ornament can give a display its focal point. Add pieces around it only where there’s room.
Work with the room
Echo a color already in the space, such as the green in a cushion or the warm neutral in a table runner.
Make it easy to reset
Choose a spot you can update between occasions. A tray, shelf or bedside table is a good place to start.
Where the idea begins
Holiday decorating often starts with a familiar corner. It might be the shelf you see as you walk in, the kitchen island where everyone stops to talk, or the side table beside a guest bed. We organize the collection around those places so you can picture where each accent might fit before you choose it.
From one season to the next
Spring at the bedside
Try a small hare or floral shape near the lamp. A pale accent can sit comfortably alongside the linens and leave space for the things a guest needs.
Autumn at the door
Warm tones and rounded shapes work well in an entry display. Keep the walkway clear and follow each item’s placement instructions.
Winter on the mantel
Arrange a miniature house and tree at different heights. Leave gaps between them so you can see each outline in evening light.
How we put a room edit together
We start with the surface, choose a focal piece and repeat a color that already belongs in the room. A cranberry ornament can pick up the tone of a ribbon across the room. A pine silhouette can tie a mantel display to a kitchen table. The aim is to make the two spaces feel related without crowding either one.
